Ministry Opportunities

There is a saying that in a church, 20% of the people do 80% of the work. That is not necessarily because the rest can’t serve. A lot of times people want to help but they don’t know that there is a need.

In a body there are many parts working together to accomplish the goal. All of the parts are important and everyone should have an opportunity to serve Christ. Think about this list and see if any of these are positions you might like to serve in.

A big reason that some needs may not be on this list is because we hadn’t thought to need them. The basic principle of service is, If you see a need, fill it. If you can think of somewhere that the church needs help, please talk to one of the elders and we will try to make a place for you to serve.

Also there may be needs you are unaware of. Do you have skill doing something but someone in the church is already doing it? There could still be a need. What if the current person in a position could use a break or would rather be doing something else but continues where they are at because they don’t know that you would be willing to help?

If you see a position above or think of a way you would like to be involved, pray about it. Then contact a member of the Board and we would love send you in the right direction to get you involved in the service of the Lord.
