Psalms 146:2
While I live will I praise the LORD:
I will sing praises unto my God while I have any being.

The Bible says that God inhabits the praises of his people.  Our ultimate goal in coming together as the body of Christ is to have God’s presence with us.  We take the act of worship seriously and we offer God our best knowing He is worthy of so much more.
God want’s us to offer ourselves as a living sacrifice to Him.  Our professionalism in worship is an example of us trying to offer him the best sacrifice we can.

In heaven the angels sing flawlessly into an atmosphere permeated by Gods righteousness.  We can’t even begin to make the beauty of the sounds that they make.  Our best tuned instruments and most trained voices are no match for the perfection that God has right before Him.  The point of worship is not to make a beautiful sound.  It’s to express from our hearts, our devotion and love for Christ who loved us so much that he died so that we could be with Him forever.  When we understand and accept His gift to us, then we can worship Him in Spirit and in truth.
